Food Labels

Striking colours and designs for maximum shelf appeal – get your products noticed and boost your sales.

With a wealth of experience in this sector, Acorn Clearprint can answer your food labelling questions. Whether you are a well established company or a new startup, we will have a solution to suit your requirements and budget. We can help you with anything from material specifications and adhesive choice to artwork design and food industry labelling regulations. Our factory has held the BRC Global Standard certification for food packaging since 2004 and we are proud of our AA grading.

Covering all sectors of the food industry including, bakeries, cheese manufacturers, dairies, spice suppliers, sandwich producers, butchers and meat processors, we have the experience to marry up the correct material specifications to your exacting requirements.

Our labels can be produced up to 8 colour on a vast variety of materials, including paper, synthetics (including clear & metallics) and card. See our ‘Printed Labels’ section for a list of common options which meet the majority of customers’ requirements. If you have an enquiry for a combination not listed, please ring to discuss.

Help with artwork

Many of our customers supply print ready artwork and that is great, but we never assume that everything supplied to us is perfect. Therefore, every design destined for our presses will undergo the same scrutiny, as if designed in-house, to ensure that the logos, photos, colours etc. will reproduce correctly on press and that the text content complies with the current food labelling legislation.

If you do not have artwork, or if you have artwork which requires amending / bringing up to date with legislation, we have our in-house studio to attend to your needs.
